Why Choose a Whale Item Stuffer?
Teachers face a daily whirlwind of tasks, and having a cute and functional item on their desk can make a big difference. The Whale Item Stuffer can hold classic-sized scissors, pens, and other small items. This makes it a practical addition to their workspace, and a unique gift that people will come to love and cherish!
Materials You'll Need
Let’s gather the materials needed to create your Whale Item Stuffer:
- Yarn: Opt for soft, durable yarn in colors that your teacher loves. I use Bernat Blanket Yarn in weight 6, but this project is great in that you can use any larger weight yarn, just adjust your hook size accordingly! In this project i use Bernat- Race Car Red for the body. Bernat Blanket Mist-ical in Fresh Green for the tail and fins.
- Crochet Hook: A size 5mm hook is ideal for this project. ( You will also want a size 5.5 or size 6 hook available for the MR only, I find its much easier to work in the MR when you start a size up)
- Safety Eyes: I use a size 24mm in this project but use what you have available to you.
- Stuffing: None!
- Scissors: For yarn cutting and trimming loose ends.
- Yarn Needle: Essential for weaving in ends and sewing pieces together.
- Stitch Markers: These are optional but help keep track of your stitches.
Gathering these items will pave the way for your crafting journey!
